The Yale Ultrasound Service provides a complete range of procedures using advanced ultrasound machines. Yale Ultrasound specializes in fibrointimal thickness measurement in carotid arteries (a screen for coronary arterosis) vascular ultrasound (carotid, transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) /dialysis-arterial bypass graft surveillance), deep-venous thrombosis (DVT), venous reflux, aortic aneurysm screening and follow-up, and renal artery stenosis.
