The Renal Failure Program offers dialysis care through a partnership with the DaVita Healthcare Center, a dialysis corporation that links clinical expertise among many dialysis programs.
Yale Nephrology physicians care for over 250 patients requiring maintenance dialysis, as well as providing home dialysis for more than 60 patients. Home peritoneal dialysis and rehabilitation are top priorities. The Acute Dialysis Program of YNHH offers conventional hemodialysis, charcoal hemoperfusion, and continuous venovenous hemofiltration dialysis.
Renal transplant care is provided in collaboration with Yale-New Haven Organ Transplant Center.
